About Bear Butte Lodge

Bear Butte Lodge is the Rosebud Sioux Tribe's Educational, Spiritual and Cultural Center.

The Lodge is located 8 miles east of Sturgis, South Dakota. Our primary focus is toward at risk Native American youth. The Lodge provides a peaceful retreat and haven to people of all ages and all nations. The sacred mountain helps to restore their culture, pride, self esteem and identity.

We welcome workshops and classes that promote the understanding of Native American culture, heritage and traditions.
